Q: Why are custom lengths and less common sections more expensive?

A: We buy common sections cut to common lengths in bulk so get great prices on them and pass on those savings to you. This is the cheapest way to get lintels for your build.

Q: Can I use different sections than what is shown on my engineering plans?

A: The short answer is yes but there are some things you need to be careful of. You need to make sure what you use it not smaller or weaker than what’s shown on the plans. You also need to make sure it physically fits in the area you need to put it. You should double check this with your engineer before making any changes.

Q: Why do I see Change Recommendations for items on the delivery truck page?

A: These are ways to save money by selecting common sections to pre-cut lengths which are cheaper. If you go ahead with this you should check that the recommendations are suitable for the application.

Q: Can I return some or all of my order if it turns out I don’t need some or all of the pieces?

A: Yes you can, as long as they are full lengths. You can’t return custom cut pieces. You need to contact our admin team to arrange a return and you would need to pay for us to pick it up or you can drop it back to our factory.

Q: Can you lift my lintels into place for me when you deliver them?

A: Yes this is something we can arrange but it requires a special trip to site. If you want this option please contact our admin team to arrange a quote.

Q: What happens if you are unable to deliver my order?

A: If we are unable to get into your site we will do our best to find a solution. We may drop the order onto the nature strip if it’s safe to do so. If we have to take the order back to the factory then we will book it for delivery again but there would be an extra delivery charge.
